TMBThanachart Bank PCL (ttb) announced its new digital team, named “ttb spark”, to strengthen its digital potential and competitiveness by developing digital financial solutions under the concept of humanized digital banking.

Naris Aruksakunwong, Head of ttb spark, revealed, “ttb spark marks an important turning point in the bank’s digital transformation. The concept of humanized digital banking means creating a friendly digital bank that can solve problems and enhance services for both retail and corporate customers.”

“ttb spark was formed out of the belief that our company isn't too big to transform from within. Although today we are one of the D-SIBs (Domestic Systemically Important Banks), having undergone many changes, our DNA has grown from a medium-sized bank. The executives are a new generation who understand digitalization and technology and know how to use them to elevate banking business.”

“ttb is ready to shift from a branch-centric operation to a digital platform that enables customers to make transactions via the application and connect to our staff more conveniently. We believe that the supportive coexistence of online and offline worlds is the right way to deliver the best experiences for our customers.” said Mr. Naris.

A new chapter in ttb spark’s success and ttb’s momentous change is marked by the new launch of “ttb touch” mobile application as a personalized financial personal assistant for customers. Slated to launch this May, the outstanding features include: being a personal assistant that alerts for customers such as water, electricity, and mobile phone bills; giving advice and making life easier; managing financial documents on ttb touch, making it convenient to retrieve personal data and request financial documents without having to go to a bank branch, and; personalized compiling benefits and special promotions.

Last but not least, the highlighted beyond-banking feature “My Car” allows customers to manage car-related matters such as paying instalments, renewing insurance, and selling and buying vehicles. This is a creative extension of ttb’s status as a leader in the car loan sector with solutions for all across the ecosystem.

Rachakorn Chayapirad, Head of ttb spark, said, “Our team believes in “Sparking New Possibilities” and is filled with talent and passion for meaningful change.
