The Market Bangkok in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine, the Ministry of Public Health, travel, massage, spa and medical hemp & cannabis networks join forces to organise the biggest event of the year, “Thailand Hub of Health & Travel”, with more than 100 booths of tourism, massage, and herbal activities during July 12-17, 2022, at The Market Bangkok (Ratchaprasong), M floor. The event highlights health travel, massages and herbals, serving the trend of Wellness Tourism showing Thailand's potential as a Global Medical & Wellness Hub.
Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports Mr. Napintorn Srisunpang on July 12, 2022, honourably presided over the opening ceremony at M Hall, M Floor, The Market Bangkok. The event was also joined by the Association of Domestic Travel, Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association, Thai Tourism Promotion Association, the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), Professional Tourist Guide Association of Thailand, Phuket Tour Operators Association, Watpo Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School, Doi Num Sub Academy of Thai Massage and Herbal Compress, Ayurvedic Association of Thailand, World Association of Nuad Thai and Spa (with members from over 58 countries worldwide), Industrial Cannabis Hemp & Kratom Association, Kanchaya Clinic, Cannabis Hemp Council of Thailand, Cabbages & Condoms, Chet Samian Community, Ratchaburi province, Mae Fah Luang University, Karaboon Deli, and The Platinum Group Public Company Limited.

Wellness Travel: Travel packages in five regions are available. Hotels, accommodations, homestays and health packages offer special discounts to serve the wellness tourism trend and stimulate the wellness tourism economy throughout Thailand. Health Massage
Come and see and support Thais the World Nuad Thai Championship, a Thai massage competition to win the prestigious Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn trophy. The competition will be live-streamed from Switzerland where the event is being hosted this year from July 16, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. onwards at the Main Hall (M floor).
Experience cultural heritage in the form of folk massage from four regions at special rates at the event. North, local therapists from Hmong, Khamu, Akha, and Mho Muang Lanna ethnic groups offer spiritual therapy based on faith and beliefs, including Yam Khang (Lanna Fire Therapy) and Tok Sen ancient Thai massage that originated in the north of Thailand. South signature healing massage using langkasuka oil. Central, the original Thai massage, including royal massage or nuad chaleisak, hot wax candle massage, and Nuad Mai Tabong cudgel massage. Northeastern offers Nuad Pa Kao Mah or loincloth stretching massage.
Thailand Hub of Health & Travel also features workshop activities. Visitors to the show can make the most of “Self-massage therapy training based on traditional medicine science" including treatment of office syndrome by the Ayurvedic Association of Thailand. Also, demonstrating Ascetic self-stretching (Rue-si Datton) by Watpo Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School, and Thai massage with Thai herbs and special herbs cannabis and hemp. "Hemp of the mother", a product from the concept of sustainable development for forests and farmers of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother by Thai Hemp Wellness and special massage and spa packages are also available at the event only. A 30-minute massage from four regions is priced 150 baht from regular price 350 baht.
Wellness Herbals
Health consciousness people won’t want to miss the healthy herbs menu from Karaboon Deli, Cabbages & Condoms, a special-roast coffee café, including Mae Fah Luang University, hemp and cannabis menus, Chiang Rai travel routes, and hotels under Cabbages & Condoms, Hemp Clinic – therapy, revitalisation program, and medical treatment with hemp and cannabis by a medical professional at Kanchaya Clinic booth. Healthy menus are featured including caviar of the river ‘Wolffia’, the smallest plant based food in the world (10g of wolffian equals 400 grams of plant protein) at the Dr.WellnessX booth. Herbal products for health and hemp and cannabis products certified by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine are also available at the event.
