Banpu Public Company Limited, a leading international versatile energy provider, ignites public inspiration to realise that smart and clean energy can create something new and that everyone can be a part of it.
Conveying the message “Banpu is closer to you than you think”, Banpu comes up with a campaign entitled “Love Song from Clean Energy” using ‘a love song’ to connect young generations to clean energy. Only clean energy is used in the song and music video production process as well as the mini concert at See Fah yard in the heart of Bangkok at Siam Square. This reinforces Banpu’s Greener & Smarter strategy which aims to achieve energy sustainability as a gift to the people on the 40th anniversary of the Company next year. Violette Wautier, an artist who is passionate in supporting the concept of sustainability and would like to see a better future for our world, performed a song called “Brighter Sky”.
Mrs. Somruedee Chaimongkol, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, said “The campaign was initiated from Banpu's brand position to deliver smarter energy for sustainability. One of our missions is to bring clean energy and growing energy technology to drive business and global industry. This is another challenge in bringing energy that seems distant to be more accessible to younger generations while raising awareness that Smarter Energy for the Future from Banpu can create something new and everyone can engage with it through a love song that reaches people of all genders and ages.”
“We want this campaign to be a good starting point for us to get to know each other better and let everyone know that 'Banpu is closer to you than you think' and Banpu’s energy businesses is applicable to people’s lives. We have energy solutions that can connect to people’s lifestyles and we hope everyone will know Banpu as a Thai energy company that is growing internationally to deliver Smarter Energy for the Future to meet the quality of life for people today. Under the Greener & Smarter strategy that aims to achieve energy sustainability, together with adhering to ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, this campaign is a special gift on the 40th anniversary of Banpu next year.”
Mr. Sinon Vongkusolkit, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu NEXT Company Limited, said, “Love Song from Clean Energy campaign uses a love song to connect Banpu to people of all genders and ages, especially young generations who have a Greener & Smarter lifestyle. We want people to see that smart and clean energy can bring us something new by using solar energy stored in our energy solutions to produce electricity in every stage of the campaign, including music production and music video shooting. To organise this mini concert, we only use electricity from clean energy to create light and sound and everything on stage where the artists perform.”
“We also had the opportunity to work with Violette Wautier, an artist from the renowned record label, Universal Music Thailand, who is tabbed to convey the intention and identity of Banpu. We expect that this campaign will bring us closer and make people more interested in clean energy. At the same time, we hope to see Banpu brand get closer to the hearts of everyone,” concluded Sinon.
