New Balance, the global athletic brand, hosted a grand opening event on September 30, 2023, to celebrate the launch of its first flagship store in Thailand at CentralWorld, one of Bangkok's largest and most frequented shopping malls. The event promised an unforgettable experience for sneaker enthusiasts and sports aficionados alike, offering a range of engaging activities and a special appearance by renowned artists.
The New Balance flagship store, operated by MAP Active Adiperkasa Ltd., is located on the third floor of CentralWorld and is expected to provide customers with a comprehensive range from head to toe, encompassing both performance and lifestyle categories, including the coveted MADE collection. The new flagship store introduces a fresh concept in a welcoming space that is more enjoyable and accessible for sport fashion enthusiasts than ever before.
During the grand opening event, a variety of exciting activities awaited New Balance fans, including a mini fashion show, an exclusive New Balance photobooth, a vibrant New Balance Café that provided a refreshing touch for all attendees throughout the event, and a shoe trial session on the treadmill. The treadmill allowed everyone to truly experience and test the performance of New Balance running shoes.
The event was further enhanced by a mini concert featuring Proxie, a well-known T-Pop boy band famous for their chart-topping hits and dynamic performances. They took the stage and kept the energy levels soaring throughout the evening. To top it all off, there was also an electrifying hip-hop remix set by DJ Fame, creating a fun atmosphere that had everyone moving and grooving to their favourite tunes.
