DBS Denla British School, a leading International School in Thailand, is thrilled to offer an exclusive sneak peek into its highly anticipated Japanese Design Sixth Form Centre, a cutting-edge educational space designed to nurture the growth and development of our students. This innovative facility represents our commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment that empowers students to excel academically and personally. This new facility highlights the school’s motto “Always to Greater Things” as a leader in education preparing students for success in an ever-changing world. The New Sixth Form Centre will be ready in Term 1 of the Academic Year 2024/25. DBS, at the same time, introduced the prestigious DBS Scholarships, an empowering opportunity designed to foster academic excellence and leadership potential, and a platform for personal growth, innovation, and community engagement.

DBS Denla British School chose Japanese interior design for the new Sixth Form Centre. This reflects a deliberate and thoughtful approach to creating an optimal learning environment. Japanese design principles are known for their harmony, simplicity, and focus on functionality. The design emphasises minimalism, clean lines, and the use of natural materials. These elements can create a serene and uncluttered atmosphere conducive to concentration and contemplation, which are crucial for academic success. Additionally, Japanese design often incorporates elements of nature, such as the use of wood and greenery, which can promote a sense of calm and well-being among students. The rationale behind choosing Japanese interior design is to provide an aesthetically pleasing, functional, and harmonious space that supports the educational goals of the school and fosters the holistic development of students, in line with DBS commitment to excellence in education.
