Power Your Luck, Power Your Life."
Embark on a journey of good fortune in the Year of the Dragon with the ‘Kingdom of Dragons’ theme, focusing on 'Luck, Health, Wealth, Love.' The powerful dragon symbolises positive energies of prosperity, happiness, auspiciousness, and fulfilment, welcoming both Thai and international guests. This event creates a shared space for delightful feasts, blessings, fortune enhancement, and live concerts by famous artists, complemented by special promotions.
The press conference and opening ceremony were held on February 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., at Fountain Square in King Power Rangnam, featuring the first grand dragon dance on Rangnam Road. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt and Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), graced the event.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, CEO of King Power, expressed, "This Chinese New Year event marks our grand celebration return, reinforcing King Power as a prime destination for both Thai and international customers and tourists. Our goal is to promote Thai tourism and transform Rangnam into a new Bangkok tourist spot by celebrating the Chinese New Year, encouraging the exploration of Thai-Chinese culture and culinary delights. This effort aims to position Thailand as a top tourist destination globally, initiating King Power's long-term plan for Rangnam's growth and tourism enhancement in Bangkok."
The 18-day event features god-worshipping activities, five majestic dragon parades along Rangnam Road, led by celebrated artists like PP-Krit Amnuaydechkorn, Win-Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, JJ-Kritsanapoom Pibulsonggram, Daneng-Kanyawee Songmuang, Daou-Pittaya Saechua, and Offroad-Kantapon Jindataweephol. Special performances on February 10 and 11, 2024, include Yin-Anan Wong and Chamook-Suchanan Mahaphromwan, alongside spectacular live shows and acts from China.
Participants can enjoy "Auspicious Cuisine from over 50 Renowned Restaurants" from February 1-18, 2024, featuring dishes from celebrated and Michelin Guide-recognised restaurants.
