This year, 81 educational institutions participated, where they received training on energy and environmental conservation, systematic and proper energy conservation methods, and planning for energy conservation in schools to elevate them to model institutions for energy and environmental conservation. A total of 324 students will attend learning sessions at the Ruam Tawan Centre in Kanchanaburi over four batches:
- Batch 1: 5-7 July 2024
- Batch 2: 12-14 July 2024
- Batch 3: 19-21 July 2024
- Batch 4: 26-28 July 2024
As an agency under the Ministry of Interior responsible for electricity distribution in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan, MEA places importance on energy and environmental conservation. In 2024, MEA is advancing the Energy Mind Award Season 2 project, aiming to build on past efforts by developing participating public and private schools into model institutions for energy and environmental conservation. This initiative fosters students’ environmental awareness and nurtures them as leaders in energy and environmental conservation, embedding the concept of Green Youth and delivering them as exemplary members of Thai society.
