The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with Phang Nga Province, is organising the Amazing Beach Life Festival. This event combines music, art, and beach sports in Phang Nga from 26-28 July 2024, under the theme "Beach Rhythms" at Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach). The festival aims to deliver a unique travel experience in a beach life setting, attracting tourists who enjoy beach vibes and stimulating year-round travel in Thailand.
TAT continues to boost tourism during the green season with the second Amazing Beach Life Festival in Phang Nga, taking place from 26-28 July 2024, at Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach), under the theme "Beach Rhythms." The event offers an enjoyable party atmosphere and the joy of the Andaman Sea. Phang Nga is a popular destination among both Thai and international tourists, especially those who love beach activities. With diverse tourism activities, natural abundance, and readiness to welcome tourists, Phang Nga is set to deliver a memorable experience. TAT also emphasises sustainability by managing the event's environmental impact, aiming to attract quality tourists, distribute income to local businesses and communities, and promote year-round travel in Thailand.
At the Amazing Beach Life Festival in Phang Nga, the area around Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach) will be transformed into a vibrant event space filled with fun and enjoyment. Attendees can listen to beachside music with the rhythm of the waves, featuring performances from famous artists and many DJs who will keep the beach dancing. On 26 July 2024, enjoy performances by Aeh Jirakorn and MAIYARAP; on 27 July 2024, by Earth Patravee and WIM; and on 28 July 2024, by Whal & Dolph and Purpeech.
Get ready for exciting beach activities, including Surf Boarding with expert guidance, available for all three days. A must-see highlight is taking photos with the vibrant 7-metre giant octopus installation art and inflatable landmark. Attendees can also showcase their artistic skills with colourful beach-style tattoos and participate in DIY workshops to create unique handmade art, such as painting cute fans to take home as souvenirs. The event features local product stalls, food and drink zones, and beach fashion booths from Ripcurl Thailand. Award-winning tourism businesses from Thailand Tourism Awards will also be present to showcase their offerings.
Additionally, the Sustainable Zone by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) will educate attendees on proper waste separation with the "GC YOUturn" initiative. Visitors can also enjoy the Amazing Experience of turning plastic bottle caps into bracelets through a DIY activity, free of charge.
The Amazing Beach Life Festival will also be held in two other locations: Phuket (Neon Waves) from 2-4 August 2024, at Patong Beach, and Songkhla (Art Paradise) from 9-11 August 2024, at Chalatat Beach.
