The "16th BEM Takes You to Conquer TCAS" project offers free TGAT tutoring sessions designed to help students secure admission to their desired faculties. Organized by Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) in collaboration with key public and private sectors—such as the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT), and Bangkok Metro Networks Company Limited (BMN)—this initiative aims to create equal learning opportunities for Thai youth.
In 2024, the program's teaching approach has been enhanced with expanded content and more in-depth exam practice sessions.
BEM has partnered with WE by The Brain, a renowned tutoring institute with respected tutors like Kru Phi Ae-Wised Keesugpun, Kru Phi You-Surachet Pichitpongpao, and Kru Phi Nui-Dr. Samita Muadtong. Kru Phi Nui, a first-time participant in the project, shared, “Beyond providing knowledge, I hope to inspire students to enjoy learning English and practice communicating in the language. With the variety of camps, activities, and teaching methods available in Thailand’s education system, this free tutoring event from BEM offers a valuable opportunity for students to make the most of their final preparation phase.”
In addition to the three academic tutors, a special guest speaker, Atom-Kajonkiat Doltree, creator of the page "Dek Show Portfolio," was invited to guide students on enhancing their portfolios to capture the attention of admissions committees. Atom noted, "There is still a shortage of employees with essential work skills, thought processes, and a positive attitude toward collaboration. A well-crafted portfolio is a tool for students to showcase their mindset and abilities to teachers."
The event was highly successful, with 1,325 high school students attending at Samyan Mitrtown Hall and another 1,474 students joining online from other provinces.
The "BEM Takes You to Conquer TCAS" project also saw support from various private sector partners committed to providing educational opportunities for Thai youth, including Oishi Group Public Company Limited, S. & Sons Trading Company Limited, Neo Corporation Public Company Limited, Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited, and One Thai Food Industry Company Limited.
