Asia’s premier trade show for the Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering (HoReCa) industry, THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA 2025, is set to take place from 5–7 March 2025 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, expecting to attract over 20,000 visitors and generate a trade value exceeding 4 billion baht. Organised through the collaboration of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse Germany (KM), the event is themed “Shaping the Future of HoReCa”, aiming to highlight Thailand as Asia’s leading hub for the HoReCa industry.
Ms Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of DITP, noted: “Thailand remains one of the world’s top tourist destinations, welcoming over 35.54 million international visitors in 2024. This ongoing tourism boom has directly contributed to the steady growth of the HoReCa sector, which encompasses hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.
Beyond Thailand’s position as a premier supplier of high-quality products for the HoReCa industry—spanning innovation, technology, and business solutions—the country is also recognised globally for its excellent service standards and warm hospitality. Thailand’s strategic location in Asia further enhances connectivity and accessibility, making it an ideal host for international trade exhibitions.”
Key Exhibitors and Highlights
THAIFEX – HOREC ASIA 2025 will feature over 400 exhibitors showcasing products and services across nine key categories: Bakery & Ice-Cream, Café & Bar, Cleaning & Laundry, Dining, Furnishing, Kitchen, Services, Tech, and Wellness. Special areas such as the HoReCa Food zone will be highlighted, along with a programme of seminars, competitions, and networking events.
Mr Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, underscored the readiness and potential of Thai exhibitors: “Following the remarkable success of the previous edition, this year’s event has exceeded expectations, with more than 150 Thai companies participating. These exhibitors will present innovative products, creative designs, and cutting-edge technologies aligned with the latest HoReCa trends.
Thailand’s creativity and product quality are internationally recognised. Attendees will include hotel owners, managers, café and restaurant entrepreneurs, chefs, and catering businesses, particularly from Thailand’s popular tourist destinations. Additionally, key buyers from ASEAN will foster business negotiations and increase trade volumes.”
