RAiNMaker, Thailand’s leading creator community, is reaffirming its mission to elevate the Thai content industry on a global scale. Returning this year is iCreator Camp Gen 2 Presented by SONY, an immersive programme connecting aspiring creators with leading industry experts for invaluable, firsthand learning.

Building on the Success of iCreator Camp 2024

Following the overwhelming success of iCreator Camp 2024, Thailand’s first content creator camp, Gen 2 is back in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Communication Arts. This five-week, intensive programme is entirely free of charge, offering hands-on workshops designed to upskill and inspire over 100 aspiring top-tier creators.

At the press conference, Mr. Khajorn Chiaranaipanich, Managing Director of RAiNMaker and Founder of iCreator Camp, highlighted the rapid growth of Thailand’s creator economy. He emphasised the importance of aligning the education sector with this dynamic industry, making initiatives like iCreator Camp essential for fostering a thriving content creator ecosystem.

Introducing iCreator REPORT

The opening event also unveiled “iCreator REPORT,” Thailand's first comprehensive content creator report. This pioneering report aggregates data from Thai creators across all major social media platforms and is slated for release in Q3 2025. It aims to be an indispensable resource for content creators across various disciplines.

Comprehensive 5-Week Curriculum

Each week, the camp will focus on a core aspect of content creation:

  • Week 1 (19 April 2025): Storytelling & Creativity
  • Week 2 (26 April 2025): Design & Visuals
  • Week 3 (3 May 2025): Production & Platform Strategy
  • Week 4 (10 May 2025): Branding & Marketing
  • Week 5 (24 May 2025): Winner Announcement

Participants will engage in hands-on assignments and compete for exclusive rewards. The camp also features Inspiration Talks from industry leaders, and attendees will receive a certificate of recognition upon completion.

The Role of Education in Content Creation

Prof. Dr. Preeda Akarachantachote, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University, delivered a keynote speech on “Creator & Education Opportunity”, outlining a strategic vision to enhance Thailand’s educational framework in support of content creators. Key initiatives include:

  • Research initiatives to strengthen industry collaboration

Trends & The Creator Economy in 2025

A panel discussion featuring Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakulsri Srisaracam, Thanatorn “Dart” Siriraks (yesiamdart), and Mr. Khajorn Chiaranaipanich explored emerging trends in the Thai creator economy, key challenges for new creators, and strategies to navigate the evolving digital landscape.

  • Mr. Khajorn emphasised the need for creators to continuously refine their skills, particularly in the video-centric content market.
  • Dr. Sakulsri highlighted content creation as a viable career path and the role of education in supporting this shift.
  • Thanatorn “Dart” Siriraks shared insights on overcoming challenges as a new creator, stressing the importance of authenticity and storytelling.
