Further enhancing connectivity between Thailand and India, Air India Express will increase its flight frequency on the Phuket–Hyderabad route from three to six weekly flights, effective 15 February 2025. This expansion supports growing travel demand and builds on the airline’s commitment to strengthening air links between the two countries.

Hyderabad, known as the “City of Pearls,” is a thriving tech and business hub with a culturally rich population eager to explore luxury and leisure travel. The city is home to a growing segment of professionals, entrepreneurs, and students with strong international ties—making it a key market for Thai tourism.

The event was attended by Mr. Nagesh Kumar, Ambassador of India to Thailand, senior Air India Express executives, TAMGP Co., Ltd. (its Thai representative agency), and key travel partners. As part of the celebration, a ceremonial boarding pass for the first Phuket–Hyderabad flight was presented to travel industry partners.
