Following the earthquake in Myanmar on 28 March 2025, which also affected several provinces in Thailand including Bangkok, Bangchak Group responded promptly, recognising the urgent needs of those impacted.
Since 30 March, Bangchak has actively supported relief efforts by providing Inthanin beverages to rescue workers, volunteers, and personnel at the building collapse site in Chatuchak District. Fuel cards were also distributed to several rescue organisations, including the Gun Jom Palang Chuay Su Foundation, the Goodness Organisation, the Heart to Heart Rescue Group, and the Disaster Response Association of Thailand—all of whom were engaged in search and rescue operations.
On the evening of 28 March, Bangchak also delivered drinking water to Rajavithi Hospital to help alleviate the emergency situation.
Additionally, the Group supplied diesel fuel to two AIS mobile units operating at the scene to support communication services for both officials and the public. These vehicles also assisted in detecting signals from victims who may have been trapped beneath the debris. To further strengthen rescue operations, Bangchak provided power boxes to the K9 USAR Thailand team, ensuring uninterrupted communication throughout the mission.
Bangchak Group extends its deepest condolences to the families and communities who lost loved ones, and offers heartfelt support to all those affected by the earthquake.
