Siam Motors Group (SMG), a leading conglomerate in the automotive and industrial sectors with more than 70 internationally recognised brands—including DAIKIN, KOMATSU, NISSAN, Kia, and GS Battery—has been awarded the ‘Climate Action Leaders Recognition’ in honour of its unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The prestigious certificate was presented by Dr. Natcha Likhitkijvorakul, Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, during the ‘Climate Action Forum’ held at the United Nations Headquarters in Thailand. The high-level event brought together stakeholders from government, the private sector, and civil society to advance collaborative climate solutions and promote SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Co-hosted by the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA – UN FAO) and Sustainism (stnsm.org), the forum highlighted innovative leadership in environmental and climate action.
