Bangkok, 4 April 2025 – UOB Thailand has launched its 2025 Womenpreneur: Sustainability and Innovation Programme, reinforcing its commitment to supporting women-led businesses across Thailand. The programme, led by UOB FinLab in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED), aims to cultivate a robust ecosystem for female entrepreneurs by providing access to digital tools, expert guidance, and sustainability-focused resources.

Through workshops, mentorship, and a broad innovation network, the programme equips women entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to integrate sustainable practices into their operations, driving long-term success in today’s digital and environmentally conscious marketplace.

Ms Piyaporn Ratanaprasartporn, Country Head of Channels and Digitalisation at UOB Thailand, said: “This initiative underscores our commitment to nurturing a thriving ecosystem for women-led businesses. With sustainability and innovation becoming central to business strategy, the programme provides hands-on support through UOB FinLab’s tools and networks, empowering participants to build resilient and future-ready enterprises.”

From a pool of 185 applicants in Bangkok, 25 female entrepreneurs from a diverse range of sectors have been selected to participate in the three-month programme, which runs from April to June 2025. Participants will explore new business models, adopt digital technologies, and collaborate on sustainable growth strategies.

The programme reflects UOB’s wider commitment to fostering inclusive and responsible economic progress across ASEAN.
